Black and white portrait of a young woman smiling with hair over one shoulder, wearing a black off-shoulder top.

Hi, I’m Kim — photographer, memory keeper, and mum to three incredible little girls who keep life wild, full, and beautifully messy.

My photography journey started long before I ever held a business card. As a teenager, I worked at Kodak, printing photos and processing film. I’d spend my free periods (and let’s be honest, skip a few classes) in the school darkroom, completely absorbed in the magic of turning moments into images. That obsession never left.

In my early twenties, I cut my teeth on wedding photography, working under some brilliant mentors. I carried gear like a packhorse, soaked up every lesson, and slowly started booking clients of my own. I worked in boutique portrait studios across town before eventually stepping out on my own, setting up my first photography business from the spare room at my mum’s house.

And it took off — one year, I photographed 45 weddings. It was wild and wonderful. I was beyond thrilled that so many couples trusted me with their big day.

There’s one story from that season I’ll never forget. One night, after back-to-back client meetings, I threw on my comfiest pyjamas and crashed on the couch. My mum came in and casually said, “Your friends are here.” I was confused — and then horrified — when I opened the door to see not friends, but a new couple coming for their wedding consultation! I laughed, invited them in, made a quick outfit change, and guess what? We had a great chat and they booked me on the spot.

These days, life looks a little different. Becoming a mum has changed everything — in the best ways. I still love chasing the light and capturing connection, but now I do it with a deeper appreciation for the fleetingness of time. The little in-between moments mean more now: the snuggles, the chaos, the quiet glances, the everyday magic.

Whether you’re building a brand, a business, or a family — or all three at once — I’m here to help you hold onto what matters. The moments you’ll want to remember, just as they are.

Let’s tell your story.
